UPDATE: Apple Tablet
Since the rumours have about Apple’s new Tablet have been around, a lot of people have been digging for signs that justify the rumors. Here are a few:
- AppleInsider reports that Apple did indeed evaluate 4-to-12 inch screens, and
- ArsTechnica finds that an updated USB Configuration plist file for iPhone OS 3.1 mentions an unlisted device called the iProd.
There is a great amount of hype out there about this device. But, as usual critics have their doubts on the success of the device. Rafe Needleman, in this post, at CNET suggests that nobody will want to use a tablet. One of his main quibbles being how much it costs…
Oh well… bury the impatience and let time tell.
